Clare Tone

Liz French

Clare has been a student of the horse for over 50 years and counting. Her emphasis is on sharing an approach that creates rapport, trust and harmony between horse and human. Through that process, solid horsemanship skills naturally evolve. Email Clare to find out more about her offerings.

Liz has been around horses her whole life and grew up competing, learning, and growing alongside her equine friends. Currently, she is training a mustang named Stitch and continuing her partnership with her Appaloosa, Gemini. Liz also has a passion for the outdoors and teaching people about horses so they can reap the healing benefits of the connection between horse and human. Broken Arrow Ranch is very fortunate to offer horsemanship lessons with Liz on Wednesdays throughout the summer!

Kevin Tone

Asher Rudkin

Kevin Tone on his first  horse, Gizmo. Two old souls of the mountains. Kevin keeps us on track with best practices to take care of the land, wildlife, forests and nature that surrounds the ranch. He is our resident engineer and sustainable energy expert.

Asher is a lifelong animal lover and Colorado native. He moved to BAR in 2019 and fell in love with the horses and ranch life. He soon started taking lessons and purchased his own horse, Brandy. The more he learned about horsemanship and caring for horses, the more he wanted to make his livelihood helping horses. Asher attended the ELPO farrier school in order to learn how to trim and shoe horses. He recently started his own horseshoeing business and continues to work at Broken Arrow Ranch. Looking for a farrier in the Boulder area foothills? Reach out to Asher.

Julie Meyers

Lexi is a native of Colorado, growing up in the foothills, she relocated to the mountains with her now 13 year old daughter as soon as the opportunity presented itself. She has been guiding yoga and meditation practices for over 16 years and is also a certified massage therapist for nearly 20 years. A lover of the universe and a firm believer in the support we receive from and in nature, her specialty and purpose is to teach as many as she can that we all have the ability and tools within to shape our existence into the best versions of ourselves and to heal from the experiences holding us back.

Julie is a master gestaltist who partners with horses to help women heal the wounds of deep trauma.  She works primarily with women who are aware of issues from their own childhood they don’t want to pass on to their children, and that they don’t want to recreate in relationships.  She has experienced first hand that when we release the negative effects of stored trauma, we experience freedom.  Her ultimate goal is to inspire others to find and become their dreams so that joy becomes the norm.  Julie is dedicated to empowering women to find themselves, stand in their truth, and truly love and embrace who they are.

The true gift of the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method is the combination of the profound healing of Gestalt + the power of horses to heal + positive coaching + somatic awareness.

Julie is a dually certified graduate of the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method.  She owns her own rewarding private practice, Serenity Horse.  Additionally, she holds a Masters in Bilingual Education from the University of Colorarado.
